A personal timeline
Life events are placed in sequence and compared with the twelve houses and recurring seven-year periods used in the book.
Myth · body · biography
An idea space in Allen’s work: how history and experience take shape in a life, how the body remembers, and how symbols can help a person read patterns without becoming trapped by them.

Two related works
Astrology and Healing Trauma is the current publication. The Chiron Text is an older, expansive working manuscript from Allen’s archive.
Both ask how a human being can become more conscious of the forces shaping a life. One offers a practical framework made with Karen Beth Wilson. The other ranges through myth, physical culture, planetary archetypes, religion and historical research.

Using Your Birth Chart in the Journey Toward Recovery
Robert Allen Pittman and Karen Beth Wilson bring astrology, somatic attention and spiritual psychology into a practical map of biography. Readers construct a life timeline, compare it with the natal chart and look for recurring patterns across childhood, ancestry, relationships and transition.

Attention
restores choice
Life events are placed in sequence and compared with the twelve houses and recurring seven-year periods used in the book.
The chart is used as a reflective map for recurring themes, inherited stories and periods of change — not as a medical diagnosis.
Mirror work, breath and guided self-inquiry ask where inner experience and outward expression have moved out of relation.
The book and related conversations are educational and reflective. They do not replace medical, psychiatric or psychotherapeutic care.
Allen’s route into the subject
With the guidance of astrologer Brian Lynch, Allen studied his own natal chart over two decades.
The study extended his bodily work to another scale of observation: the sequence of a life, the return of patterns, and the distance between what a person senses inwardly and what they are able to express. Authorship and inquiry connect the fields; each retains its own method.
Unpublished · working archive
A thirty-thousand-word manuscript organised as a sequence of meditations, practical exercises and planetary archetypes.
Allen uses Chiron — healer, archer and teacher — as an organising figure for a wide Western history of physical and spiritual culture. The chapters move from intent and personality through healing, essence, emotion, structure, transformation, warmth, rest and what he calls the yoga of emotion.
The working manuscript reveals the scale of Allen’s research and the connections he drew between history, myth, symbolic anatomy and lived experience.
